One of the first entities on the Polish photovoltaic market
The Bruk-Bet Fotowoltaika brand was established by Grupa Bruk-Bet S.A. in 2012, initially under the name of Georyt Solar. A year before, construction of the production plant for photovoltaic panels in Tarnów was commenced. One of the first projects of the company was implementation of the largest photovoltaic farm in Wierzchosławice in Poland. This is first the photovoltaic solar farm in Poland.
The beginning of craft activities under the name “Concrete Product Manufacturing Plant Krzystof Witkowski – manual production of paving slabs, curbs, hollow bricks, sidewalks, concrete circles and pipes” (Zakłady Wyrobów Betonowych Krzysztof Witkowski)
The first years of the plant’s operation are the time of mechanization of production. Thanks to implementation of forklifts, battery moulds of the mixing plant and accelerated maturing of products, the years from 1985 to 1988 were a period of gradual growth.
The breakthrough year of adopting the name BRUK-BET – the start of production of 4 types of paving stones with the Italian semi-automatic machine V-6 Super.
The launch of production plant for vibropressed paving stones in Tarnów – powered by production lines Schlosser, Omag 1, Omag 2 and Omag 3.
In the years from 1999 to 2005, further factory stores are established: in Nowy Sącz, Rzeszów, Sosnowiec, Kraków, Kielce, Nowy Targ, Lublin, Bielsko-Biała and Lesznowola near Warsaw.
In 2000, production of palisades, washed Multigran® slabs and shot-peened Rustical® slabs is launched.
In 2002, the production of Uni Split® products is launched.
In 2003, production in the new plant in Kraków was launched, and production of innovative products Realit and Relief with the use of Wet Cast technology is commenced in Nieciecza.
In 2004, in the new plant in Kielce, the production of paving stone starts, which is the flagship product of our company, begins.
Launching the production of wells and sewage systems.
From a legal point of view, the important moment in the history of company was the year 2007, in which BRUK-BET Krzysztof Witkowski changed its legal status to a limited liability company (in Poland know as: “spółka z o.o.”) In the same year, the open-cast mine of dolomite, Georyt Krzysztof Witkowski, starts its operations.
In 2008, GEORYT gravel pit in Niedomice and Sieciechowice is launched. In 2009, the dolomite mine in Łagów is launched.
In 2010, blocks, slabs and beams made of cellular concrete begins to be produced under the Termalica brand. Bruk-Bet has thus joined the small group of producers of this type of products in Poland.
In 2010, a historical promotion of the Bruk-Bet Nieciecza football team to the major league takes place.
In 2011, the paving stone production plant in Krzemienica near Launch of production plant in Tarnów dedicated to “Georyt Solar” panels. Delivery of panels for installation of the largest photovoltaic farm, located in Wierzchosławice in Poland.
Commissioning of new headquarters of the company, along with the Maria and Kazimierz Witkowski theatre and cinema hall. Its patrons were for years connected with Amateur Theatrical Group “Niecieczanie”, founded in 1916.
Rebranding of GEORYT Solar to Bruk-Bet Solar.
The Termalica Bruk-Bet Nieciecza football team achieves the historical success and is promoted to Ekstraklasa. Modernisation of the stadium in Nieciecza.
Construction of training pitch group of Bruk-Bet Termalica. Start of production of white cellular concrete in Będzin-Łagisza and modernisation of Bruk-Bet Solar machinery park.
The Swiss company Meyer Burger, the leader of semiconductor market and specialist in the field of production equipment, delivers modern production machines – stringers and the laminator.
Development of Bruk-Bet Solar products.
Establishment of Bruk-Bet PV, the main area of operations of which is distribution of equipment for the photovoltaics industry.
Extension of the production hall of Bruk-Bet Solar and buildings of Bruk-Bet and Bruk-Bet PV companies.
